A global company in the Sharon area is looking for a LOGISTICS SHIPPING COORDINATOR - Temporary project for about a year and a half
- Export & Import Management: Handle all types of exports and manage imports under customs supervision.
- Complex Projects: Coordinate vessel importation, liaise with the Ministry of Transport, and provide weekly updates and solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to customs and Israel Governmental ministries requirement, including dual-use and radioactive equipment handling.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Maintain communication with stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks within short timeframes, manage requests and coordinate with freight forwarding companies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct price list reviews and negotiate shipping related quotes effectively.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in the field - experience with Import/Export transportation/freight forwarding as well as in coping/dealing with the Israeli Import and Export Regulatory Regimes, including Israel Governmental agencies and other entities.
- BA degree or higher with a preference to Logistics/Business Management/Industrial Management
- High level English
- Proficiency in Excel.
